Jayesh Reddy

Jayesh Reddy appointed new General Manager of Mastermed

Jayesh Reddy has been appointed as the new General Manager of Mastermed. Jayesh has a hunger for knowledge and with a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Computer Science from the University of Natal and Customer Relationship Management, Strategic Management and Production & Operations Management studies through UNISA he is now pursuing a Master’s degree in the Management of Technology and Innovation through the Da Vinci Institute.

Jayesh has been with Med-e-Mass for close to six years and as the previous National Call Centre Manager he has a great feel for what clients want and expect.

Practice Management Roundup asked him a few questions to find out what his new role entails and what his vision for Mastermed is.

1. Where and how does Mastermed fit into the Med-e-Mass business?

The Mastermed product is very much part of Med-e-Mass’ future growth plan. It’s a product that we will continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs (both current and future) of our clients. Mastermed is a simple, easy-to-use, yet extremely powerful, software application. It offers a total solution to managing a practice ranging from a single practitioner environment all the way to large multi-practitioner, multi-disciplinary environments.

2. What would you say is your new job description?

I’ve taken on the responsibility of managing the operations of the Mastermed business. This includes overseeing the services, support and sales related to the Mastermed product.

3. What will be your first port of call as the General Manger of Mastermed?

I have been examining the processes within the Mastermed business with the aim of identifying areas and implementing changes where improvements could be made.

4. What are your hopes for Mastermed?

I want to deliver a superior experience to all Mastermed users. And with each interaction this experience should be better than the previous occasion.

5. What makes Mastermed so special to you?

Over the past two and a half years I’ve been involved with the support offered to Mastermed users through the Med-e-Mass National Call Centre. During that time, we focused heavily on improving our processes for the benefit of the customer. I believe we made a great deal of progress in coming closer to that goal. It is gratifying to see the plans we’ve put in place being executed effectively and bringing about a positive change in the way support is being delivered. I want to bring about a similar effect to the greater Mastermed business.
