Once again, we find ourselves standing at the starting blocks of a brand new year filled with endless possibilities and a sense of hope. For us, 2008 will be a tough act to follow as it was a year filled with exciting new product developments including Elixir Dental, our Credit and Debit Card Solution as well as the integration of the Edcon payment solution into our Credit and Debit Card Solution at the end of the year.

Our theme for 2009 is TRANSFORMATION, which we see as a complete change, usually into something with an improved appearance and usefulness. Bearing this in mind, our main strategic goal for 2009 is to assist your practice by making sure that all the necessary processes and systems are in place for efficient practice management methodologies. Once this transformation of your practice is achieved, you will have the time and resources to spend 100% of your time on your patients and on the growth of your practice.



For us the transformation already began in 2008 when we introduced Elixir Dental, a dental specific software package with focused capability specific to Dental practitioners.

We also introduced the new and improved ME+ 2.0 that not only has a new look but together with a complete document editor, can now:

1. Receive Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) within ME+ 2.0

2. Send emails from the product i.e. statements and invoices

3. Mail merge

For me the highlight of 2008 was the introduction of our cash practice management tool – the Credit and Debit Card Solution, which is now fully integrated with the Edcon payment solution. This product not only enabled us to open to a new market but it revolutionized the healthcare market by making healthcare more obtainable and affordable.

As with everything else in this world we cannot avoid yearly increases and I am very proud to announce a minimal yearly increase. As from 1 March 2009, our products and services will only increase by an average of 9%. Once again we managed to ensure that you receive maximum benefit from our products and services. We are doing our utmost to protect your practice from the spiralling effect of inflation by keeping our costs way below CPIX.

With our intensified focus on bringing cost cutting solutions to your practice, we are best positioned to assist you to save more!
