Me+ version 2.03 now features Cash Receipting!

In other words, add a receipt printer and an optional cash drawer to the Me+ setup, and you can throw away your receipt book.

When posting a cash payment, Me+ will assign it a unique sequential receipt number to the payment line, and pop up a form on which you can fill in the tendered amount. From this amount the system will calculate the change due, automatically kick open your cash drawer, and print the receipt.

Some features of our Cash Receipting module:

• Cash payments lines can’t be edited or deleted, and is fully auditable.
• One can specify your starting receipt number, for continuity when transferring from paper based receipts.
• From there on receipt numbers can’t be manually set, or changed which allows for added security.
• Cash Receipts can be reprinted at any time.
• Cash Receipting is fully scalable, and can be used with or without the credit card solution, in the following configurations:
  • Receipt printer only. (without cash drawer or card reader)
    
  • Receipt printer and cash drawer. (without card reader)
