Med-e-Mass KZN helps non-profit clinic to develop by sponsoring training, installation and setups of Elixir in the clinic
The Ramakrishna Clinic of South Africa opened a facility at 17 Foresthaven Drive in Foresthaven, Phoenix on Sunday 28 October 2007. This facility will complement services provided by the State institutions in the region. At the opening, Dr Mbele, Acting Head of Department of Health, KwaZulu-Natal, paid tribute to the Ramakrishna Centre and the Clinic for their spirit of volunteerism and contribution to health care in the Province.

The Clinic will conduct specialist medical clinics, counseling services, nutrition, educational and skills development programs. The specialist medical services will include consultative clinics, minor surgery, cardiac assessments, endoscopies, ultrasonography and laboratory tests. Ancillary services include Physiotherapy, Speech and Hearing Therapy, Dietetics, Counseling, Social Support Services and Complementary Medicine.
Dr H Chaithram, secretary of the Clinic emphasized that the Foresthaven Clinic is not a walk-in facility and all patients will be treated strictly on a referral basis from the Public Sector institutions. Patients are not charged for services.
Med-e-Mass KZN contributed to this project by sponsoring the installation, training, setup and support of Elixir within the clinic to ensure efficient and smooth operation.
It is great to see people stand together to make a difference and to provide those less privileged with excellent healthcare.
