Data Backup Requirements
Elixir has an integrated data backup solution using a CD -writer. A removable hard drive could also be used for data backup purposes.
Alternatively, any commercially available data backup software product can be used. Med-e-Mass Support Consultants can assist users in pre-setting and defining backup procedures that will suite their individual needs.
Network Requirements
Elixir uses the TCP/IP based network protocol with a network card running at 100 mbps. For larger networks or optimal performance, a dedicated server is recommended.
Please take note:
- Elixir needs a CD or DVD reader drive on at least one computer connected to the Local Area Network (LAN) in order to do installations.
- Internet access is strongly recommended for remote support purposes.
